Our Revolutionary Pro capsule is a private 30-minute lie-down session of dry infrared warmth and color light. Here is what it feels like and how to prepare.

Infrared Sauna · Quote in spa
Our infrared sauna capsule is the Revolutionary Pro. It is a private, lie-down capsule that pairs dry infrared warmth with soft color light. A session is 30 minutes. You change in private, settle in and rest while the warmth builds. There is nothing to wash off afterward and no downtime, though most clients like a few minutes to cool down and drink water before they leave.
Pricing is quoted in spa, and capsule sessions are offered as packages, so the easiest way to get a current figure is to call us or ask when you book. This guide covers what the capsule is, what the half hour feels like, what to wear, how to handle water before and after, and who should wait. The treatment overview is on our infrared sauna page.
A traditional sauna heats the air, and the hot air heats you. Infrared elements work differently. They give off infrared energy that your skin absorbs as warmth, so you feel heat on the body while the air around you stays more moderate. Many people find that gentler and easier to sit with than a hot, humid room.
The Revolutionary Pro adds color light to that warmth. The light is soft and ambient rather than bright, and it is there for atmosphere and comfort. We make no claims about what the color does beyond that. The capsule is a wellness experience. It is cosmetic and for general relaxation, not medical care, and it is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition.
Because it is a capsule for one, there is no shared room, no bench to wait for and no one else's schedule to work around. We walk you through how to settle in, how to call us if you need anything and how to end the session early at any point.
You check in, and we go over a short intake form. Tell us about any trouble with heat, any medication that makes you sensitive to heat or light, and whether you are pregnant or have a heart condition or an implanted device. Then you change in private. We show you how to settle into the capsule and how to open it if you want to stop.
The first few minutes feel mild. The warmth builds gradually rather than arriving all at once, which is one reason many clients prefer it to a hot room. Somewhere around the midpoint most people begin to sweat, some lightly and some a great deal. That is simply the body cooling itself, and it varies from person to person and from day to day.
The color light is soft, and many clients close their eyes and drift. Some use the half hour to rest after a long week, and some pair it with a red light session or a facial on the same visit. When the session ends, you rest for a moment, then step out slowly. Skin often looks flushed and feels warm for a short while, and that fades on its own. If at any point you feel dizzy, faint or unwell, open the capsule and tell us. We would always rather stop early.
Less is more inside the capsule, since infrared warms the skin it reaches. Most clients wear underwear, a swimsuit or nothing under a towel. Choose what you are comfortable in. You undress only as far as you like, and you change in private.
Bring a hair tie if your hair is long, and skip heavy lotion, oil or makeup beforehand. Product on the skin can feel sticky once you warm up, and clean skin is simply more comfortable. Leave jewelry, watches and anything metal in your bag, since metal can warm quickly. If you tend to sweat heavily, a change of underwear is a good idea, and you are welcome to bring your own water bottle.
Allow a little extra time on either side of the half hour. You will want a few minutes to change, settle in and cool down afterward, and the visit should never feel rushed. We will tell you how long to set aside, especially if you are pairing the capsule with another treatment.
Warmth makes most people sweat, and sweat is water leaving the body. So the most useful preparation is also the simplest: drink a glass or two of water in the hour before your session. Skip alcohol beforehand, and avoid a heavy meal right before you arrive. A light snack an hour or two earlier is fine.
Afterward, drink again and keep sipping through the rest of the day. Many clients notice they are thirstier than usual for a few hours, which is normal. If you sweated heavily, a snack with a little salt can help you feel steady. We are not going to tell you that sweating flushes anything out of your body. It does not. Sweating is how the body cools down, and the point of water is simply to replace what you lost.
Give yourself ten quiet minutes after the session before you head back into the mall. Sit, drink and let your temperature settle. If you feel lightheaded when you stand, sit back down and tell us. That is uncommon, but it is the reason we keep sessions to 30 minutes and ask everyone to hydrate.
Heat is demanding on the body, and the capsule is not for everyone. Please skip it if you are pregnant, if you have a heart condition, if you have a pacemaker or another implanted device, or if you have a condition that makes heat hard to tolerate. The same applies to epilepsy or light sensitivity, an active skin infection, recent surgery or a fresh sunburn. Talk to your physician first if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection or have had recent surgery. These are cosmetic services, not medical care.
We also want to be honest about limits. The capsule may leave you feeling relaxed, warm and loose, and some clients say they sleep well that night. It will not change your body shape, and it is not a substitute for exercise, sleep or care from a physician. Research on regular sauna use continues, but much of it was done with different equipment and longer protocols, so findings from one study do not transfer neatly to a 30-minute capsule. Results vary, and we describe the session as a wellness experience for that reason.
Capsule sessions are offered as packages, and pricing is quoted in spa. Call us or ask at the front desk, and we will walk you through the current options. Affirm financing is available, and our general price list is on our pricing page.
Many clients pair the capsule with a 30-minute session in our red light bed, which is $360, or with a facial. See our red light therapy page for what that session involves. If you want to combine warmth with cold, we can also plan a capsule session around a cryotherapy facial, with time between them to return to a comfortable temperature. We plan the order with you so nothing is rushed.
We are inside Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, with free parking and hours into the evening on Fridays and Saturdays, so a capsule session fits before dinner or at the end of a shopping trip. If you are not sure whether the capsule is right for you, ask. We would rather talk it through than have you book something that is not a fit.
