The short answer: yes, and the order matters a little

Our red light therapy bed is a 30-minute session, and most of our facials run 60 minutes. Together they make a calm 90-minute visit. The bed uses more than 5,000 red LEDs and asks nothing of you but to lie still. A facial is hands-on. Pairing them on the same day is something many clients ask about at our spa inside Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, and it is easy to schedule.

There is no single correct order. We usually suggest the facial first and the bed second, for reasons we explain below, but the right sequence depends on which facial you choose and how you like to leave. This guide covers the pairings people ask about most, the order we suggest, timing, pricing, and what to do afterward. The bed itself is described on our red light therapy page.

Which facials pair well with the bed

The Express Hydrating Facial is the simplest pair. It is 30 minutes and $125, so the whole visit stays close to an hour. A short hydrating facial, then half an hour under red light. Many clients choose this on a lunch break or before an evening out.

The LED Skin Tightening Facial is $250 for 60 minutes and uses the Perfectio X red and infrared LEDs and the Sapphire X blue LEDs on the face. Pairing a facial LED session with a full-body red bed on the same day is a lot of light in one visit. Some clients enjoy that. Others find it more than they need and prefer to alternate the two across separate visits. We will say which we think suits you when you book.

The RF Face and Neck Facial is also $250 for 60 minutes. It uses gentle radio-frequency warmth, then a 24K gold and black caviar mask. Many clients like following the warmth of RF with the quiet of the bed. The Cryotherapy Facial is $325 for 60 minutes and uses an applicator chilled to minus 6 degrees Celsius in brief, controlled passes over the skin. That one is the exception to our usual order, which we cover next. Each facial is described on our facials page.

The order we suggest, and why

For most facials, we suggest the facial first. The facial cleans the skin, removes product and any makeup, and leaves it bare. Red light does not need to pass through anything, so bare skin is a sensible starting point. The bed then becomes a quiet finish. You step off, apply sunscreen, and go. Nothing on the skin needs to be removed afterward.

The cryotherapy facial is where some clients flip the order. The cool finish is often the part people like most, and many prefer it to be the last thing they feel. In that case, bed first, then the facial. Both orders work. Our team will ask what you want to walk out feeling and plan around that. Either way, the bed is applied to clean, dry skin, and we do not layer product on for it.

Timing: plan on 30 plus 60, with a few minutes between

A 60-minute facial plus a 30-minute bed session is 90 minutes of treatment. Add a few minutes to change, settle in and move between rooms, and the realistic window is about an hour and three quarters from check-in to walking back into the mall. With the Express facial, the pair runs closer to an hour and ten minutes.

We try to book the two back to back so you are not waiting in between. Arrive about ten minutes early for a first visit so forms and a short conversation do not eat into treatment time. Arriving more than ten minutes late may mean we need to reschedule. The 24-hour cancellation notice applies to both services.

If you are on a tighter schedule, the bed on its own is 30 minutes and you can add the facial another day. The pair is a convenience, not a formula.

Pairing the bed with the infrared capsule

The infrared capsule is our other quiet, lie-down option. It is a warm, enclosed session with infrared heat. Pricing is quoted in the spa. Ask at the desk or when you book. Some clients like the capsule and the bed on the same day, warmth followed by light, as a longer stretch of rest.

If you do both, we suggest the capsule first and the bed second. The capsule is warm and you will likely sweat. A short towel-down, a glass of water, and then the bed, which is comfortable rather than hot. Going the other way is fine, but fewer people prefer to step from the bed into heat.

Warm sessions ask more of your body than light does. Drink water before the capsule, not just after. Skip it if you have had alcohol, if you feel unwell, or if you have not eaten in a long while. These are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, an active skin infection or recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking any of this.

Who tends to enjoy a paired visit

Clients who are coming to the mall anyway and would rather spend one long, unhurried visit than two short ones. People preparing for an event who want a facial for the skin and a calm half hour before a busy evening. Clients who already come for the bed regularly and are curious about a facial, or the reverse.

It also suits people who travel for work and pack their self-care into one afternoon. Many clients notice their skin looks a little more rested after a facial, and a quiet half hour under warm red light tends to leave people feeling calmer. We do not promise more than that. Results vary, and any change in the look of the skin from red light tends to show over a series rather than a single visit.

What the pair costs

The bed is $360 for 30 minutes. Add the Express Hydrating Facial and the pair is $485. Add the LED Skin Tightening Facial or the RF Face and Neck Facial and it is $610. Add the Cryotherapy Facial and it is $685. We do not currently bundle the bed into a package price, so the pair is simply the two menu prices together. Our pricing page lists every service.

Facial packages apply to the facial side only. A Bronze package, for example, is two LED facials and one daily product for $550, which works out to $275 per facial, and you can add a bed session to either visit at the standard $360. Affirm financing is available for clients who prefer to spread the cost. There are no refunds on services, and the 30-day refund applies only to Affirm purchases.

Hydration and the rest of the day

Drink water after the visit, and more if you used the capsule. Your skin has been cleansed and, in some facials, exfoliated, so go easy on makeup for a few hours if you can. Apply sunscreen before you leave the mall. Red light is not UV, but a fresh facial can leave skin a little more sensitive, and the Fort Worth sun is strong most of the year.

Skip strong retinoids, acids and scrubs that evening. A gentle cleanser and a simple moisturizer are plenty. Some clients feel sleepy after the bed, especially when it is paired with the capsule, and many describe it as a pleasant kind of tired. If anything feels off, redness that does not settle, unusual stinging, or a reaction you have not had before, call us and check in with your physician.

Questions about this guide

Should I do the facial or the red light bed first?

A 60-minute facial and a 30-minute bed session are 90 minutes of treatment. Allow about an hour and three quarters from check-in. With the Express Hydrating Facial, plan on roughly an hour and ten minutes.

The bed is $360. With the Express Hydrating Facial the pair is $485, with the LED or RF facial it is $610, and with the Cryotherapy Facial it is $685. The two are priced as separate menu items.
