Cleanse, gentle exfoliation, hydration and serum in half an hour. Who the $125 express facial suits, what it is not, and how it leads to our 60-minute facials.

Facials · From $125
The Express Hydrating Facial is our shortest facial. It costs $125 and takes 30 minutes. In that half hour we cleanse the skin, exfoliate gently, add hydration and finish with a serum chosen for your skin. There is no LED light, no radio-frequency warmth and no cooling step. It is the gentlest facial on our menu, and an easy first choice for people who are new to us.
What it can do is modest and honest. Skin tends to feel cleaner, softer and better hydrated when you leave, and many clients notice a fresher look for a day or two. What it cannot do is change the structure of the skin or stand in for a series of longer treatments. Results vary from person to person, and they are temporary. We think that is worth saying plainly before you book.
Thirty minutes sounds short for a facial. It is enough when each step has one job. The first few minutes are a short conversation. Your specialist looks at your skin under good light, asks what you want from the visit and a few questions about your skin. That conversation decides which products we reach for.
Next comes the cleanse. We remove makeup, sunscreen, oil and the general buildup of a day, then cleanse a second time so the skin underneath is actually clean. On a busy day this is the part most people never get to at home. It is also the part that lets the following steps work on bare skin.
Gentle exfoliation follows. We use a mild exfoliant suited to your skin and keep the pressure light. The goal is to lift dry surface cells so the skin feels smoother and may look a little brighter, not to make it red. If your skin is reactive, we go lighter still or skip this step.
The last stretch is hydration. We layer a hydrating step over the freshly prepared skin, give it a few minutes to settle, then finish with a serum and a light moisturizer. You leave with skin that feels comfortable rather than tight, and makeup can go on right away.
It is for a first visit. If you have never been to Vearitea Wellness Spa, or never had a facial at all, half an hour is an easy way to meet us and see how we work before committing to a 60-minute session. Your specialist also gets to see your skin, which makes any later recommendation more useful than a guess.
It is for a lunch break. Our spa is inside Hulen Mall, with free parking, so a noon appointment leaves time to walk in, have the facial and walk back out within the hour. There is no downtime.
It is for the hours before an evening out. A cleanse and hydration in the late afternoon tends to leave skin looking fresher and taking makeup more evenly. It will not reduce the look of puffiness the way a cooling step may; for that, the Cryotherapy Facial is the better fit. But for a simple, rested look, the express facial is often enough.
It is also for skin that is calm but thirsty, for the weeks between longer treatments, and for anyone whose skin reacts to heat, cold or light. Because the express facial uses none of those, it suits many people who need to skip our other facials.
It is not a skin tightening treatment. There is no radio-frequency warmth, no red or infrared light and no applicator chilled to −6 °C in the express facial. If a firmer look along the jaw or a smoother look over a series is your goal, you want the 60-minute RF or LED facial, not this one.
It is not a series. A short series is a typical starting point for our LED, RF and cryotherapy facials, because their cosmetic effects tend to build or fade over time. The express facial has no such arc. You book it when your skin needs a reset, and that is the whole plan.
It is not care for a skin condition. If you are dealing with cystic acne, rosacea, eczema or melasma, a dermatologist or physician is the right first step, and we will say so when you ask. A hydrating facial may be a comfortable addition later, but it does not stand in for that care. All of our facials are cosmetic services, not medical care.
And it is not a replacement for a daily routine. A good cleanser, a moisturizer and sunscreen generally do more over a year than any single half hour in our chair. The express facial is a deeper version of what you already do, done well, with a trained specialist looking at your skin.
Much of the value of a first express facial shows up afterward, in the conversation. Having seen your skin clean and up close, your specialist can tell you which longer facial fits, or whether one fits at all. We would rather you spend $125 and learn something than $250 on a guess.
If the conversation turns to dullness, early lines or blemish-prone skin, the next step is usually the LED Skin Tightening Facial, $250 for 60 minutes. It begins with the same cleanse and exfoliation, then adds red and infrared light, or blue light at 415 nm, from our Perfectio X and Sapphire X devices. Both are FDA-cleared Class II devices; the clearance relates to the devices, not to a particular cosmetic result. There is more on our LED facial page.
If the concern is softness along the jaw and neck, the RF Face & Neck Facial, also $250, adds radio-frequency warmth and a 24K gold and black caviar mask. If it is puffiness before an event, the Cryotherapy Facial, $325, adds brief, controlled passes with an applicator chilled to −6 °C. Each is a 60-minute version of the same idea: prepare the skin well, then do one more thing to it. The full menu is on our facials page.
Some clients never move on, and that is fine. A monthly express facial is a reasonable rhythm for skin that is simply dry or dull. Others alternate it with a longer facial every few weeks. There is no wrong order.
Arrive with a clean face if you can, or at least without heavy makeup, so more of the 30 minutes goes to the facial itself. Skip exfoliating acids and retinoids the night before, or ask us whether to pause them. Half an hour is short, but there is room for questions.
Afterward, drink water, keep your moisturizer on and leave the skin alone for the rest of the day. Skin may look slightly pink for a short while after exfoliation, and that usually settles quickly. Makeup can go on the same day.
Please talk to your physician before booking if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection or have had recent surgery. The express facial avoids heat, cold and light, so it is often the one we can still offer, but your physician's advice comes first and we will plan around it.
Our policies are simple. We ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean we need to reschedule, since half an hour leaves little slack. Services are not refundable. The spa is open seven days a week in Fort Worth, with evening hours Monday through Saturday, and Affirm financing is available for larger plans. Current prices are listed on our pricing page.
It depends on what you want. For a thorough cleanse, gentle exfoliation and hydration in 30 minutes, with a specialist's eye on your skin, many clients find it a fair price. It will not firm or tighten the look of skin. For those goals, a 60-minute LED or RF facial at $250 is the better use of the money.
Yes. A gentle exfoliation follows the cleanse. We keep it light, and we skip it altogether if your skin is reactive or you have recently had a peel or used strong acids. Tell us at the start and we will adjust.
Yes. There is no downtime. Skin may look slightly pink for a short while after exfoliation, and makeup can go on the same day. Many clients like how makeup sits on freshly cleansed, hydrated skin, which suits an evening out.
Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
If half an hour is all you have, the Express Hydrating Facial is a simple place to start, and your specialist can suggest what, if anything, comes next.
