A Men Facial is listed on our treatments page. It is priced on request. Ask when you book, or call (214) 447-7748 and we will quote it. The honest answer to the question is that skin is skin. The layers are the same. The goals are usually the same. What changes is a handful of practical details that come from shaving, oil levels and skin thickness. Those details shape which products we choose, how firmly we work, and which technology makes sense for you.
This guide covers what tends to differ, the LED and cryotherapy options we offer, and what a first visit at our Hulen Mall spa in Fort Worth looks like. It is written for anyone who shaves their face, has oilier skin, or has simply never had a facial and wants to know what happens in the room.
Shaving is the biggest difference. A razor removes a thin layer of surface skin along with the hair. Done daily, that is a form of exfoliation, and it often leaves the skin a little more reactive than it looks. Nicks, razor burn and ingrown hairs along the jaw and neck are common. For a facial, this means we go lighter on exfoliation than we might otherwise, and we avoid anything that would sting on freshly shaved skin.
Oil is the second difference. Oilier skin can mean more visible pores and more congestion. It also tolerates a thorough cleanse well. We adjust the cleanser and the mask accordingly, and we may spend more time on gentle extractions if that is appropriate for your skin.
Thickness is the third. Some people have thicker, denser skin with a firmer texture. That is not a problem. It simply means some products absorb more slowly and some technologies, such as radio-frequency warmth, may be adjusted. None of these are rules. Plenty of people who shave have dry, thin or sensitive skin, and we work with the skin in front of us, not a category.
The structure is the one we use for every facial. We start with a short conversation about your skin, your shaving routine and what you would like to change. Then we cleanse, exfoliate gently, and look at the skin under good light. If extractions are useful, we do them carefully. A mask follows, chosen for your skin that day, and we finish with a light moisturizer and sunscreen.
Products are picked to go on cleanly and leave no heavy film. If you have a beard, we work around it and clean the skin beneath where we can reach it. If you prefer not to talk during the session, that is fine.
If you want a shorter starting point, the Express Hydrating Facial is $125 for 30 minutes and covers cleansing, exfoliation, hydration and sunscreen. The Men Facial itself is priced on request; ask when you book. See our facials page for the full menu.
LED light is a good fit for shaved skin because nothing touches the face during the light portion of the session. Our LED Skin Tightening Facial is $250 for 60 minutes. It uses the Perfectio X, which emits red and infrared light, and the Sapphire X, which emits blue light at 415 nm. Both are FDA-cleared Class II devices. The clearance covers the device itself, not a particular result on your skin.
Red and infrared light are commonly chosen for a firmer, brighter look. Blue light at 415 nm is commonly chosen for blemish-prone skin. If oil and congestion are your main concern, we may lean toward blue. If a tired or slightly slack look is the concern, we may lean toward red. Many clients notice a brighter look for a few days after a session, and a series of sessions is a typical starting point for a more settled effect. Results vary. You can read more on our LED facial page.
The Cryotherapy Facial is $325 for 60 minutes. After cleansing and exfoliation, we pass an applicator chilled to −6 °C over the face in brief, controlled passes. The applicator is what reaches that temperature, not your skin. The sensation is cold, firm and brief, and many clients find it comfortable.
Cooling may temporarily reduce the look of puffiness and redness. Some clients book it after a close shave for that reason. Results vary. The effect is short-lived, so it is often timed a day or two before a photograph or an event. Our cryotherapy facial page explains the full session. If you have cold urticaria or a history of reacting badly to cold, this is not the right option, and we will say so.
We are inside Hulen Mall at 4800 S Hulen St, Suite 1110, and parking is free. Plan to arrive a few minutes early. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean we need to reschedule, and we ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel.
If your skin reacts to shaving, skip the razor the morning of your visit, or shave the night before. A day of stubble is fine. There is nothing you need to bring. We will ask about allergies, any products you use, and anything that has irritated your skin before. Then the session begins.
Afterward, your skin may look a little pink for an hour or so. Hold off on shaving until the next day if you can, and use sunscreen. We may suggest one or two products to use at home, but there is no pressure to buy anything. Affirm financing is available, and our facial packages lower the per-session price if you plan to return.
These are cosmetic services, not medical care. They can help skin look cleaner, calmer and brighter for a time. They do not change how hair comes in, and they do not replace a dermatologist. If you have persistent razor bumps, cystic acne, rosacea or eczema, a dermatologist or physician is the right first step, and we are glad to work alongside that care.
Please talk to your physician before booking if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery on the face or neck. Results vary from person to person. If we think a facial is not the right fit for you, we will tell you plainly.
No. If your skin reacts to a razor, shaving the night before is the easiest option. A day of stubble does not get in the way, and we work around beards.

A gentle facial may temporarily improve how the skin looks and feels, but it does not change how hair comes in. Persistent razor bumps are best seen first by a dermatologist.
