Arrive with clean or lightly made-up skin, wear something soft that is easy to adjust, bring water, and know the details we ask about on the intake form. That is nearly all of it. The rest of this guide goes treatment by treatment, since a facial, a body session and the red light bed each ask a little something different of you.
Nothing here is complicated, and nothing is a test. If you forget a hair tie or arrive in a stiff collar, we work around it. Preparing well simply makes the hour calmer and gives the treatment the best chance to do what it may do. Our services are cosmetic services, not medical care.
For an LED, RF, cryotherapy or hydrating facial, clean skin is the ideal starting point. We cleanse at the beginning of every session, so makeup is not a problem, but heavy foundation, long-wear products and thick sunscreen take extra time to remove. Light makeup or none at all lets us begin the treatment itself sooner.
Skip your strongest skincare that morning. Retinoids, exfoliating acids and scrubs can leave skin a little more reactive, and we would rather work on skin that is calm. A gentle cleanser and a light moisturizer are enough. If you shave your face, do it the night before rather than an hour before.
Wear a top with an open or loose neckline. We work on the face, neck and upper chest, and a crew neck or turtleneck gets in the way. A button-front shirt, a scoop neck or a camisole under a cardigan all work well. We ask you to remove earrings and necklaces for the RF and cryotherapy facials, so leaving them at home means one less thing to keep track of. Bring a hair tie if your hair is long. We usually have a headband on hand, but a tie keeps hair out of product and away from the applicators.
For ultrasonic cavitation and body cryotherapy, we treat one area at a time and drape the rest. You undress only as far as the treated area requires, and you change in private. Comfortable, loose clothing makes this simple. Soft leggings or joggers, a loose T-shirt and slip-on shoes mean you are dressed again in a minute.
Cavitation uses a conductive gel, and body cryotherapy can leave the skin slightly cool and pink for a short while. We wipe the area down afterward, but a trace of gel may remain. Wear something you do not mind getting a touch of residue on, and avoid tight waistbands that press on an abdomen or flank we have just worked on. Skip body lotion and oil on the area that morning, since product sits between the applicator and your skin.
Leave belts, body jewelry and anything metal near the treatment area at home, or plan to remove them. If you are treating the arms, a sleeveless top helps. If you are treating the thighs, shorts or loose pants that roll up easily are better than jeans. See our body contouring page for what each session involves.
The Revolutionary Pro red light bed works on the skin the light can reach. Many clients wear underwear or a swimsuit, and some wear nothing under a towel. There is no right amount. You decide what you are comfortable with, and you undress in private. You wear eye protection for the full 30 minutes. Ask us when you book what we provide and what to bring.
Arrive with clean skin and no lotion, oil or makeup. Product forms a thin layer the light has to pass through, and it can feel warm or sticky in the bed. Sunscreen is easy to forget. If you applied it that morning, we can give you a moment to wipe the areas you want treated. Bring a hair tie and leave jewelry and watches in your bag. If you take a medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, tell us before the session. The overview is on our red light therapy page.
Water, first. A bottle you can sip before and after is welcome, since the body sessions and the red light bed leave many clients feeling warm or ready for a drink. We usually have water on hand, but your own bottle means you are not waiting on anyone.
A hair tie, for any treatment that reaches the face or neck. And a list of your medications, or a photo of the labels if you cannot recall the names, since some medications change how skin responds to light, cold or warmth. That is the packing list. Payment and intake details are covered in our first-visit guide, linked in the next section.
Mall parking is free, so there is no ticket to bring and nothing to validate. We are in Suite 1110 inside Hulen Mall in Fort Worth. Check the mall directory or ask mall staff for Suite 1110.
The intake form asks about medications, pregnancy, a pacemaker or other implanted device, metal near the treatment area, recent injectables or surgery, cold sensitivity and any active rash, cold sore or open skin. Answer fully. That is how we decide whether to proceed, adjust the settings or suggest something else, and none of the answers are judged. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking. For the full intake list and what the form covers, see our first-visit guide.
Children, please. We ask that children not accompany you, so please arrange care ahead of time. A facial or body session is 30 to 60 minutes of lying still, and it is a better hour when you are not listening for a small voice outside the door. Pets also stay home, with the exception of service animals.
Valuables are simpler not to bring. Rings, watches and necklaces that have to come off anyway are easier to leave in a drawer at home than to keep track of here. If you drive in from across town, give yourself a buffer. If you arrive more than ten minutes late, we may need to reschedule, and that is an easy thing to avoid.
You do not need to shave for a body session, style your hair for a facial, or buy anything special for the red light bed. You do not need to fast, and you do not need to give up coffee. A normal meal an hour or two before is fine, and arriving a little fed suits many clients better than arriving hungry.
If you forget something, say so when you arrive. We usually have a headband, towels, water and makeup remover on hand. Preparation makes the visit smoother, but a good session does not depend on you doing everything on this list. Results vary from person to person, and the biggest difference comes from the treatment and the plan around it, not from what is in your bag.
Yes. We cleanse before every facial, so makeup comes off at the start. Lighter makeup or none saves a few minutes and lets us begin the treatment itself sooner.
Loose, soft clothing that is easy to take off and put on, such as leggings or joggers and a loose top. You uncover only the treated area, we drape the rest, and you change in private.
Your medications, whether you are pregnant, any pacemaker or implanted device, metal implants near the area, recent injectables or surgery, and any cold sensitivity or active skin issue. These answers decide whether and how we proceed.
Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
When you are ready, book a facial, a body session or a red light bed visit and we will confirm your time and answer anything this guide left open.
